A dripping outdoor faucet might seem like a small plumbing problem, but if it won’t shut off completely, it’s worth getting fixed.

For this Friday Fix, our homeowner had an outdoor faucet that continued leaking even when turned off. After evaluating the problem and explaining the repair, our plumber replaced the old faucet with a new quarter-turn model that makes turning the water on and off simple.

Once the installation was complete, we checked the repair and confirmed everything was working properly with no further issues.

It’s a simple fix, but that’s exactly the point. Taking care of smaller plumbing problems now can help prevent wasted water and bigger headaches later.
