FSE provided this 4000HP 5kv Solid State Starter to the City of Houston Texas. It will be controlling a High Service Pump at the Northeast Water Purification Plant. This plant provides potable drinking water to residents in North and West Harris County.

Raw water pipelines provide Cities and Municipalities with water to purify. They transport the water from lakes through 80-110” wide pipe that requires a lot of horsepower to move the water. Five Star Electric provided four 5000HP Synchronous Medium Voltage Variable Speed Drives to a Municipal Water District in North Texas.

We are proud to employ veterans and recognize how much they contribute. We would like to recognize below our employees and highlight their contribution to our Company and Country.
*Jason McKinley (E4) served in the US Marine Corps from 1994-2002 as a 3112 Transportation Management Specialist. Jason has been a Sales Engineer for FSE since 2011.
*Russ Brehm (E6) served in the US Navy from 1987-1995. He served as a Nuclear Electrician Mate onboard the USS Lajolla. Russ has been our Service Manager since 2012.
*Josh Michael (CPL) served in the US Army from 2009-2013 (medically retired), as an 11 Bravo Infantryman in the 10th Mountain 4th Brigade 2-30th Infantry division. Josh has been the South Texas Sales Rep since 2013.
*Rigoberto D’Leon (E5) served in the US Marine Corps from 1981-1989 as a Crash, Fire and Rescue Team Crew Chief and Squad Leader. Rigo served in Japan, Korea, Philippines and the beaches of California. Semper Fi! Rigo is the current Controller since 2019.
*Sean Unger (E4) served in the US Navy from 2000-2004 as an Information Systems Tech at JMF St Mawgan United Kingdom. Sean has worked as a Service Technician since 2020.
