RUSH Construction is proud to be part of this select group of five contractors from across the country who meet regularly to share insights, evaluate one another’s operations, and discuss industry trends and best practices.

The Contractors Advisory Board meets twice a year, rotating locations among member companies, and also holds monthly calls to stay connected on emerging challenges and opportunities in the construction industry.

This month, our team traveled to San Antonio, Texas, for the semi-annual CAB meeting hosted by Keller-Martin Construction. Today, the Supreme Court ensured Americans continue to have access to colorectal cancer screenings with zero out-of-pocket costs by upholding the structure of the United States Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) and protecting the Affordable Care Act (ACA) provision requiring insurance plans to provide no-cost preventive care.

"This is a resounding victory for the health of our nation,” said Michael Sapienza, CEO of the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. “Upholding the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force and no-cost preventive care means millions of Americans will continue to have access to screenings that save lives every single day. At a time when colorectal cancer is rising rapidly in younger populations and remains a leading cause of cancer death, this ruling ensures that financial barriers won’t compromise disease prevention and early detection."
