Another beautiful kitchen remodel that turned into almost a complete home remodel. Take a look and check out:
- Quartz countertops that went all the way up
- That custom range hood
- That big large island
- We moved that sliding door to one side to extend the kitchen and make it even bigger
- We took down a wall that used to divide the second living room from the kitchen
- On the other side, look at that fireplace and that custom bookcase with a Murphy door on the left side, matching the bookcase
- All the electrical work
- All the plumbing work
- All the paint and drywall we had to do

Overall it was a great project and the client was awesome. Couldn't be more grateful

Perfection is in the details. 📐🔨

If it’s not done right the first time, it drives me insane. When you hire a crew, you shouldn’t have to check the small stuff—your contractor should be the hardest critic on the jobsite.

We don’t settle for “close enough.” If a detail isn’t up to standard, it gets fixed—period. 💯

Small space, massive upgrade. 🏠✨

We just wrapped up this clean, custom remodel! We brought in brand-new flooring throughout, fresh tile in the bathroom, all-new plumbing fixtures, and custom built-in shelving.

Oh, and we couldn’t forget the most important detail: a custom cat door built right into the closet so the real boss of the house gets their privacy too. 🐈‍⬛🚪👌

That’s a wrap! To close out the season, we set a massive 20-foot (8x14) LVL beam paired with a solid 6x6 post to transfer all that heavy ridge load. By doing the heavy structural engineering, we completely cleared out the space to give the client the open-concept layout they dreamed of.

We completely opened up the corridor for those high vaulted ceilings, prepped the bathroom ceiling with perfect backing for the drywall crew, and had to pivot on a quick change order. Because let’s be real... nobody wants a pony wall next to the toilet. We need privacy, man! 🤫🚽

Why spend $7,000 on steel when a $2,000 wood beam does the job? 🪵💰

It all comes down to space. When you have plenty of headroom, you can use a massive, deep wood beam to carry the load. But if you’re tight on space between floors, you have no choice but to drop $7k to $10k on a slim steel I-beam. 🏗️📏

Engineering dictates the budget. We had the room, so we saved the client $5,000.

Think ahead so you don’t pay for it later. 🧠⚡

Before the framing crew sets this new wall, we have to clear out and reroute this existing electrical. If we leave these wires inside the channel, they’ll be permanently trapped and impossible to service later.

Even worse? The framer needs to nail right into this plate—hitting a live wire is a major safety hazard and a total nightmare to fix. ❌💥
