Breaking ground on a new community destination!
We’re proud to celebrate the groundbreaking of Bruce Brown Community Park, a 24-acre park that will bring new opportunities for sports, recreation, and outdoor connection to the Mira Mesa, Sorrento Valley, and Miramar communities. Once complete, the park will feature baseball and soccer fields with bleachers, playgrounds, fitness stations, basketball and pickleball courts, concessions, restrooms, more than 1.3 miles of sidewalks, and thoughtfully designed landscaping throughout. As the only community park within a 2-mile radius, Bruce Brown Community Park will serve as an important gathering place for families, athletes, and neighbors for years to come.
