Brady West SoCal hosted a Safety Stand Up for the Acoustical Ceiling team at Project Sierra, focused on reinforcing our commitment to maintaining a safe and productive jobsite. These discussions provide an opportunity to review best practices, address potential hazards, and ensure every team member has the tools and knowledge needed to work safely.

We're proud to recognize Freddy Huerta and Miguel Hernandez through our Employee Spotlight Safety Recognition program for their outstanding dedication to safety at the UCLA Gayley project. As our largest active project, UCLA Gayley requires exceptional teamwork, attention to detail, and a steadfast commitment to safe work practices, and Freddy and Miguel consistently lead by example.

Brady West SoCal Announces Unit President, Brent Horton

CDM is proud to announce the appointment of Brent Horton as Unit President of Brady West - SoCal, effective June 1st, 2026. In anticipation of the change, Brent proactively moved to San Diego the beginning of February to ensure a smooth transition. Brent brings more than 25 years of experience in both general and specialty contracting, making him exceptionally well-suited to lead Brady West SoCal’s continued pursuit of excellence across all scopes of work.

Reflecting on this leadership transition, CDM CEO Dave Chaffee shared, “We’re excited to have Brent lead our San Diego team. Throughout his time at CDM, Brent has consistently risen to every challenge with great results. His leadership style perfectly reflects our ‘people first’ philosophy - fostering growth, recognizing unique talents of every individual, and empowering his team to reach their full potential. We’re confident Brent will inspire the San Diego team to build on their amazing legacy of success.”

Although new to the Brady West SoCal team, Brent is a seasoned leader within the CDM Family of Companies.
