Today is thrilled to share with you our new website. The story we tell on its pages illustrates six years and countless hours of hard work by the entire Roswell team. In recent months, we've been finalizing development on the Roswell Molecular Electronics Chip (Roswell ME™ Chip), expanding our leadership team, and submitting the seminal scientific paper on our technology for peer review. We've made new board appointments, built a new website, and much, much more. It's been an exciting time for our team, as much a beginning as a culmination in many ways.
Our mission is tireless for good reason. We are realizing a vision for that began more than 50 years ago—to integrate single molecules into circuits on-chip—a vision pursued but not achieved until now with the . We have benefitted from advances in technology made by others and have learned from the successes and failures of pioneers in the molecular electronics field.
On our new website, we hope to share with the world how the Roswell ME Chip is poised to usher in a new era of chip technology advancements to help fight disease. Here's why: while the Roswell ME Chip is the first to integrate molecules into circuits, we've gone further by turning the chip into a universal biosensor platform, capable of seeing biological interactions at the single-molecule level. This is a view of biology never before attained. Think of what we're doing as "digitizing biology," much in the same way that the first semiconductor chips digitized communications.
We also hope our website will give you a glimpse into our interdisciplinary culture - what we're doing can't be achieved in a garage. We're a new kind of start-up, the kind that can only succeed with a broad range of bright minds - from semiconductor chip design and nanofabrication to protein engineering, chemistry, hardware, software, algorithms, and beyond - constantly sharing information to advance a shared mission.
We want you to know Roswell in other ways, too. We have a passion for of all kinds because it's the right thing to do and the best way to innovate. We want to help build a better next generation of scientists and engineers and give back to our community. And we know how to have fun!
So, please stop by. And now that we've started sharing our story, you can expect to hear more from us pretty regularly. Watch this space! https://bit.ly/3Bgl2Rl
