Robolink Hands-on STEM and CTE and real-world, industry-aligned activities—all with a drone designed for classrooms

Robolink was established in 2012 in San Diego, California to encourage students to engage with STEM. We make fun and approachable robotics kits that teach coding and engineering in a way that’s exciting to children and teens. With our free online curriculum, students can learn using the cutting edge of technology! We were the first to make a programmable educational drone as well as a self-driving car kit that teaches artificial intelligence.

🚁 What will your students spell in the sky?

Bring coding, collaboration, and a little mystery into your classroom with the CoDrone EDU Name Game!

Working in pairs, students plan a flight path and program their drone to spell their name or a mystery word in the air while their partner tries to guess it. Along the way, they’ll practice sequencing, problem-solving, and debugging all while getting to know one another! Not ready to code yet? Students can complete the challenges by piloting instead.

We know back-to-school season gets busy, so our August activity has been extended through September 30! 🎉

Complete the Name Game with your students, then share a photo or video in the comments and tag Robolink for a chance to win a FREE CoDrone EDU to add to your fleet! 📸

Ready, set, spell....... and fly! 👇👇👇👇👇👇

🚁📚 Back to school means back to big ideas!

Check out this team interview from Robotics Education & Competition Foundation Team 8651-B Burgers & Fries from Dayton, Ohio! These students are already so inspired by drones—and they’re thinking ahead about the careers, skills, and opportunities that could come from what they’re learning today. ✈️💻

That’s what makes drone education so exciting: a classroom lesson can spark an interest in aviation, coding, engineering, technology, and careers students may not have even considered before.

💬 How are you inspiring your students with Robolink drones in your classroom this back-to-school season? Tell us in the comments!
