One of our part timers, .blend, graciously allowed us to film him during one of his work days! He does a lot of the parts cleaning and miscellaneous shop help when he’s in! Here he’s cleaning and assembling one of our tap handle orders from ! Lots of tap handle orders and someone has to make them look good!

Inviting you to follow us in a day in the life at Incept 3D - one of San Diego’s biggest 3D print farms!
A lot of people imagine running a 3D print farm means there’s a lot of computer slicing and button pushing but it’s honestly a lot more physical work than it seems! It’s more like running a real farm 👩‍🌾🚜
No day is exactly the same either - depending on what orders we currently have, so it keeps us on our toes!
This is just the day in the life of one of our full time employees. Maybe we’ll do other employees here in the future as well? 🤔

We’ve been doing this for a couple weeks now in our stories and it’s been a huge hit so we’ve decided to make it an official thing!! It’s on a first DM, first serve basis so maybe put us on notifications? 👉👈🥺 All filament types will be offered, including some fancy ones here and there like ASA and PET-CF, so if you’ve always wanted to try those materials but didn’t wanna pay the full spool cost, now’s your chance!

A one-size-fits-all 3D printed leg designed for humans of all sizes
 
We finally are able to share this in-house project that we are very proud of! We designed 3 different sized legs for growing transtibular amputees who grow out of their prosthetics faster than insurance will provide.

The leg combines 3D printed parts with easily sourced hardware, creating an open-source solution that’s accessible to makers, clinicians, and families alike.
 
Designed for simplicity, durability, and affordability, the full build can be completed for under $100.
 
All printable files, hardware lists, and assembly instructions are included to make fabrication as straightforward as possible. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions!

Incept 3D is at it again, doing tons of cool things and never sharing them with the internet…This summer we Ryan intern with us as he built out a 12lb. Battlebot named BudgetBoi.
