Harper Construction is proud to mark the structural topping out of P201, a new F-35 Hangar serving MCAS Miramar.
Over 200,000 work hours with zero lost time. That kind of progress doesn’t happen by accident. It reflects the safety-first mindset and discipline of every crew member on site.
Proud of our Harper Construction team, our subcontractors, and our military partners. Onward to the next phase.

The final box truss is officially in place 🙌 We’re closing in on topping out the structural steel by the end of July.

On March 27th, the Harper Construction Safety Team attended the Spring Safety Conference hosted by NAVFAC Southwest Facilities Engineering Acquisitions Division Camp Pendleton, where we exchanged best practices and lessons learned with fellow contractors. Our team shared how awareness and adaptation to surrounding conditions like wildlife and base operations are paramount to keeping us and those near the job site safe.

Ending Women in Construction Week on International Women’s Day feels perfectly fitting. Today, we celebrate , our exceptional Project Engineer at . Lilly earned her degree in Project Management and has been with us for about a year. Here’s to more women breaking barriers and building the future!

Day 4 is all about our SSHO Natasha: “When I graduated High School, I wanted to be an electrical engineer and started as an electrician. The economy got bad so I went to school for welding and from there my career started in construction. I welded everything from structural to pipe. I was a weld instructor for Vatterott College a weld inspector welding for SpaceX on the Falcon 9 launch pad, to iron working. From there I decided to go into safety.”

For day 2 of , we are featuring Carlie Harries who has been in the construction industry since 2017. She started as an estimating assistant, moved into an onsite project coordinator role, landed a position in the accounting department at Harper Construction, and now works as a Procore Administrator along with working on our compliance/IT team.

Happy Women in Construction Week 2024! To start this week, we are highlighting Estela, Project Accountant at Harper Construction. Estela started as an accounting assistant and eventually took over the project accountant role. Little by little she learned more and more and four years later, she has been very excited about being part of the team and seeing our projects come to life.
