Job Duties Include:
Perform preventative maintenance inspections on residential heating and air conditioning systems
Diagnose and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems
Communicate effectively with customers on issues and solutions to repair residential heating and air conditioning systems
Maintains HVAC systems by diagnosing, repairing/replacing compressors, condenser motors, evaporator motors, metering devices, temperature and humidity controls, fans, control panels, switches, fuses, filters, gauges, ducts, tubing, and related components, and completing power connections
Performs service calls and maintenance calls scheduled by dispatcher, writes out service tickets, and maintains truck inventory
Tests and repairs HVAC systems by operating the systems, identifying malfunctions, and repairing or replacing parts and components
Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions
Capable of troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and writing up repair descriptions for department estimator
Documents actions by completing service tickets and filling out equipment and chemical records.
Minimum Qualifications
Two-years experience in the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in a residential setting.
Knowledge of all HVAC components and replacement systems.
Clean DMV Record
Ability to Pass Drug Test
Willing to undergo and pass a background screening
Must be self motivated and able to work efficiently with limited supervision
Requirements
Good Communications Skills, Great Customer Skills, Friendly, Positive Attitude, Clean DMV, Neat and Clean Appearance, Self-Starter. Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
Must have EPA certification and your own hand tools.
