A new era of space exploration begins with today’s successful launch of NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration's 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲! Exploring dark matter, dark energy, and exoplanets, Roman carries the Wide Field Instrument—a 300-megapixel infrared camera—as well as a coronagraph. With a mission planned for a minimum of five years, it is designed to capture detailed images of the universe at a dramatically faster rate than the Hubble Space Telescope.

Celebrating 40 years of collaboration, the Small Satellite Conference (SmallSat) returns to Salt Lake City, August 23–26, bringing together the small satellite community to share knowledge and discuss the technologies shaping the future of space.
