Curriculum
For nearly a decade, RobotCity Workshop has engaged, educated and inspired kids to love technology through our exciting after-school robotics programs. Students will learn, build and test a wide gamut of robotics technology and related concepts such as:
Circuitry
Mechanics like gears and axels
Sensors, motors, antennae and vibration
Solar/green energy
Early programming and coding

FREE ROBOT CITY IN-HOME EVENT

Do you have a 5th-12th grader (or older) interested in borrowing a 256-piece robotic space explorers kit over the holidays PLUS a free in-home lesson on Saturday, December 8th from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.?

We are looking for students who would like to participate in a lesson on robotics and build one of 10 advanced space robots over the holiday break.

The only requirement outside of being in 5th grade or higher is that they build and return one of the 10 models by early January.

This one-of-a-kind training will take place in a Del Sur home and include a presentation on robotics, space exploration and an overview of how the technology in the kit work.

HOW TO APPLY: Please send an email to [email protected] with the age of your child and if they are free on 12/8 at 10:00 a.m. We will have 10-20 spots available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Thank you!

The Thames and Kosmos construction set makes a lunar rover, rocket launcher car, space shuttle with opening and closing cargo bay doors, robotic space shuttle payload arm, robot rover, moon lander, wacky astronaut, satellite, mars station, and cross-wing flyer.
