Charter Industries is proud to announce that Daniel Scordato has been selected as a new board member for Port of San Diego Ship Repair Association (PSDSRA). This is a meaningful milestone for our team and a valuable chance to contribute to an organization that has supported our industry for many years.
PSDSRA continues to support the maritime community through its focus on:
• Promoting the economic well being of San Diego’s private sector ship repair industry by collaborating with the U.S. Navy on funding for ship depot maintenance
• Enhancing communication between the ship repair industry and the U.S. Navy to strengthen military readiness
• Partnering with regional and national ship repair associations to increase congressional support through shared understanding of industry priorities
• Building public awareness of the ship repair industry’s contribution to the local economy, the community, the Navy, and national defense
• Educating members on environmental protection, employment opportunities, skills training, and community outreach
Daniel shared, “We have been members for decades and now is my opportunity to give back to the community. I appreciate everyone’s support and look forward to working with you all moving forward.”
