CorTechs Creators of NeuroQuant and other groundbreaking quantitative image analysis solutions

Cortechs.ai develops and markets cutting-edge imaging solutions that are used by radiologists, neurologists, and oncologists in hundreds of clinics and research centers around the world. The Cortechs.ai team includes scientists, engineers, business professionals, and clinical specialists working towards the common goal of improving the diagnosis and treatment of patients with neurodegenerative dis

orders and cancers. Cortechs.ai's flagship product, NeuroQuant®, is a breakthrough, 510(k) cleared medical device that makes quantitative analysis of MRI images of the human brain a routine part of clinical practice. As the first FDA cleared and CE marked medical device capable of automatically detecting and quantifying atrophy in the human brain, NeuroQuant® brings sophisticated, accurate, and fully automated MRI post-processing capabilities to the physician's desktop or mobile device. This provides neurologists, radiologists, and clinical researchers with a convenient and cost-effective means to quantify atrophy of brain structures to help diagnose a variety of brain disorders, including conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and traumatic brain injury.

“Radiologists should start thinking not about the benefits of man versus machine, but about the benefits of man with machine.”

Radiology should utilize machine learning/artificial intelligence (AI) to provide better, faster procedures. It's time to forget about AI replacing radiologists and instead lean into its potential to help providers and patients equally. New innovative advancements may become opportunities for imaging procedures that are less invasive and less time-consuming to perform.

Patients are increasingly expecting more from their radiology experience. Paul Shumway of Novarad shares four suggestions for improving customer satisfaction in the COVID-19 era and beyond.

A survivor encourages other men to advocate for themselves, maintain a relationship with their primary care provider, and get checked if they have a family history or risk for prostate cancer: bit.ly/360DDD5.

OnQ Prostate is FDA-cleared AI software that supports improved detection of clinically significant prostate cancer (PCa) before biopsy by enabling more accurate PI-RADS scoring.

When compared to mpMRI, our technology shows superior accuracy for discriminating PCa from normal prostate tissue and improved correlation with Gleason Score.

Tim McConnell has always been an advocate for his own health, and he knew he had a higher chance of developing prostate cancer because his father had two prostate cancer surgeries during the course of his life.

A 5-year grant worth up to $5 million has been awarded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA) to support a clinical trial that will test an investigational gene therapy, AAV2-BDNF, in people with Alzheimer’s Disease. Earlier studies found that delivering BDNF to parts of the brain affected by Alzheimer’s disease reversed the loss of connections, and protected from ongoing cell degeneration.

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) has awarded a five-year grant worth up to $5 million to support a clinical trial that will test AAV2-BDNF, an investigational gene therapy, in people with Alzheimer’s disease or mild cognitive impairment, which often precedes dementia. The therapy aims to...

A recent study finds that long-term survivors are living longer, but report lower quality of life with issues such as incontinence and sexual dysfunction. Survivors also report a lack of support managing persistent side effects, prompting doctors to encourage prostate cancer advocacy. https://ab.co/3j2SxQZ

OnQ Prostate is FDA-cleared AI software that can support improved detection of clinically significant prostate cancer. With faster, more accurate PI-RADS scoring, detection is improved, and physicians can diagnose and plan earlier.

More men are surviving prostate cancer, but many feel they are not getting enough support to manage ongoing side effects from their treatment.

A new study discovered that enzyme TET1, progressively lost with age, is essential to activate genes needed to repair damaged myelin sheath in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). TET1 may account for older individuals’ inability to form new myelin, and further research may help design better therapeutic strategies to slow the progression of devastating diseases like MS.

MS can quantify disease progression through volumetric data of brain structures and lesions, which can be used to assess the efficacy of treatments by providing ongoing longitudinal analyses of MS.

The enzyme TET1, which is progressively lost with age, is essential to activate genes needed to repair myelin — the sheath around nerve cells that is damaged in people with multiple sclerosis (MS) — a study in mice has found. The scientists said their discovery supports further research to find....

A new study found that childhood TBI resulted in widespread and persistent white matter disruption, and was impacted by demographic and clinical factors. Additional studies are needed to assess the clinical subtypes of moderate to severe TBI: https://bit.ly/2SeaCR8

The NeuroQuant TBI Report provides physicians with an assessment of 47 regional and global brain structure volume measurements for patients with a new injury or a history of traumatic brain injury. Available for patients 3-100.

White matter disruption was widespread and persistent following moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (msTBI) among children.
