Roses are red, steel is gray, we calculate loads so your sign stays in play.

Nothing says "I love you" like a well-engineered sign, such as this one for Modern Heart and Vascular. We'll ensure it stays exactly where it belongs—bolted to the facade, not flatlining on the pavement. We might not be great at poetry or serenading a loved one, but we’re world-class at ensuring your signage doesn't end in heartbreak this Valentine's Day.

A great sign doesn't just hang there—it defies gravity.

But it’s not just about the bracket. Vertical blade signs like The Harrison are giant sails that capture the wind and bend. We perform the specialized mounting calculations needed to manage the cantilevered weight and prevent the sign from swaying in high winds. We ensure the building's frame handles the twisting force so your customer’s brand stays exactly where it belongs.

Planning a high-visibility project for 2026? Let’s ensure your signage is as secure as it is striking. Email: [email protected] OR click the link in our bio.

It's been a few years since we completed this scope of work, but better late than never. Providing structural engineering and design services for challenging projects like this open lattice roof sign in Los Angeles - and for household names like no less - gets us out of bed in the morning. Always grateful to be part of something special!

Our clients stumbled upon an unfortunate surprise in their attic when doing a renovation in their new home...oh-no! Hiding away beyond the home inspector's reach was a large beam cut right through the roof trusses.

Since trusses work on a system of tension and compression members, they should never be cut without the advice of a licensed engineer. Here, this beam was not only unnecessary since the roof trusses span the entire home and the wall below was non-bearing, but it also severely impacted the structural performance and safety of their new home. We were able to recommend retrofits which were later performed by a licensed contractor, making this family home safe and secure once again.

The Flame! A historic icon reinvigorated now shines brightly over Park Boulevard. The sign was brought safely and securely back to life with a new wire rope cable system to minimize internal structure and anchorage demand on the concrete deck. A beautiful throw-back!

Sometimes we feel like we make it possible for people to enjoy the good stuff, like ice cream. Maybe it’s a stretch, but at least this 600 lb solid wood sign won’t fall on your head. That could ruin your day…and your ice cream.
