We're honored to see SunZia highlighted by the National Audubon Society (Audubon) as an example of how developers, conservation organizations, government agencies, and local stakeholders can work together to advance critical energy infrastructure while supporting wildlife and their habitats. Audubon notes that the project benefited from years of collaboration that helped inform transmission routing, design, mitigation measures, and long-term conservation commitments.

As the largest renewable energy infrastructure project in U.S. history, SunZia is helping deliver reliable, domestically produced renewable energy across the Western grid while demonstrating the value of early, science-based engagement. Audubon's article recognizes efforts that included measures to reduce risks to migratory birds, habitat conservation investments, and ongoing wildlife research.

15 years later, we're still showing up.

This month, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of St. Joseph Wind alongside the community that helped make the project possible. What began as a local vision became one of Manitoba's landmark renewable energy projects.

While the turbines continue to generate clean energy, we're most proud of the lasting relationships built along the way. Because our commitment to a community doesn't end when a project comes online, it continues for the life of the project and beyond.
