On Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we recognize and celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of Indigenous peoples and communities.

At Pattern, we believe strong relationships are built on respect, collaboration and listening to the communities where we live and work. Today and every day, we’re committed to putting those values into practice.

Today, on Canada's National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to honour residential school survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and reflect on the lasting impacts on Indigenous communities.

We recognize the importance of listening, learning, and advancing reconciliation through our actions. We encourage everyone to wear orange today and take time to learn about the history and significance of this day.

Seven years ago, Henvey Inlet Wind began generating clean energy and demonstrating the power of true partnership.

As Canada’s largest First Nation wind energy partnership, Henvey Inlet Wind continues to show what’s possible when Indigenous leadership, shared ownership and environmental stewardship come together.

To mark the anniversary, we're sharing a recent story that explores the partnership behind Henvey Inlet Wind and the lasting benefits it continues to create for the community and region.

Thank you to our partners at Henvey Inlet First Nation, our employees, contractors and everyone who has contributed to this shared success. And thank you to Jeremy Moorhouse for telling the story of this remarkable partnership.

Here's to the next chapter.

Clean energy and conservation can go hand in hand.

We're honored to see SunZia highlighted by the National Audubon Society (Audubon) as an example of how developers, conservation organizations, government agencies, and local stakeholders can work together to advance critical energy infrastructure while supporting wildlife and their habitats. Audubon notes that the project benefited from years of collaboration that helped inform transmission routing, design, mitigation measures, and long-term conservation commitments.

As the largest renewable energy infrastructure project in U.S. history, SunZia is helping deliver reliable, domestically produced renewable energy across the Western grid while demonstrating the value of early, science-based engagement. Audubon's article recognizes efforts that included measures to reduce risks to migratory birds, habitat conservation investments, and ongoing wildlife research.

Thank you to Audubon and the many partners who helped shape this project. Together, we're proving that expanding America's energy infrastructure and supporting conservation goals are not competing priorities—they're shared opportunities.

15 years later, we're still showing up.

This month, we celebrated the 15th anniversary of St. Joseph Wind alongside the community that helped make the project possible. What began as a local vision became one of Manitoba's landmark renewable energy projects.

While the turbines continue to generate clean energy, we're most proud of the lasting relationships built along the way. Because our commitment to a community doesn't end when a project comes online, it continues for the life of the project and beyond.

One month ago, SunZia came online.

SunZia is helping meet growing energy demand with new transmission infrastructure and reliable renewable energy.

Thank you to the workers, partners, landowners, communities, and employees who helped make this historic milestone possible. One month down and a bright future ahead.

As America marks 250 years, we’re reminded that progress has always been built by people willing to do what others called impossible.

Mile by mile. Tower by tower. Day by day.

SunZia is more than steel, wire and wind. It is a new standard for what American energy infrastructure can be — built at scale, built with purpose and built for the future.

America is ready to build again.

And this is only the beginning.
