San Francisco Energy Cooperative Because Power Is Everyone's Business

At the San Francisco Energy Cooperative, we’re dedicated to pioneering a simple grassroots solution to the world’s energy problems. It’s obvious to anyone who’s paying attention that our leaders in government and business have failed to make a serious effort at transitioning to renewable energy sources. While that’s frustrating at the very least, it also represents a tremendous opportunity for us,

the people of this city and of the world, to reclaim our energy future, and pioneer a new era where the profits and products of green energy belong to us all. The people of San Francisco have long been leaders in environmentalism, social responsibility and sustainable business and so we believe this city is the perfect place to begin this crucial effort, and thereby show the rest of the world that change in the world of energy is not just possible, but that it can be done profitable and equitably as well.
