We’re honored that our work with Puerto Rico’s Administración de Servicios Generales (ASG) was recognized with the Smartest AI Buy Award at the inaugural AI in Action Awards hosted by the Center for Civic Futures.

To help modernize procurement data management, Glass partnered with ASG to build J.E.D.I. 2.0, an AI-powered Procurement Item Master.

Using four specialized AI agents, the system:

✓ Cleans and standardizes product descriptions
✓ Generates consistent item names
✓ Assigns the appropriate NIGP procurement category
✓ Identifies whether an entry is a product or service

Every item receives a unique ASG-ITEM-ID, creating a standardized foundation for procurement across government.

What previously required approximately 10 minutes of manual review per item can now be completed in less than one second with 99.2% accuracy.

That’s not AI for the sake of AI.

That’s AI solving a real government problem.

At the State AI Officers Summit, our CEO and Founder, Paola Santana, asked Sam Altman, OpenAI CEO, how he sees AI evolving for government.

The best part of the State AI Officers Summit? The people.

Over the past two days, we’ve had the chance to connect with state AI leaders, policymakers, researchers, and innovators from across the country who are helping shape the future of AI in government.

While the sessions have covered everything from AI governance and procurement to agentic systems and implementation, many of the most valuable insights have come from conversations between sessions, over coffee, and during networking events.

It’s encouraging to see so many leaders focused not just on what’s possible with AI, but on how to deploy it responsibly, effectively, and in service of the public.

Thank you to everyone we’ve met this week, and to the Center for Civic Futures, the State of Georgia, and the many partners who made these conversations possible.
