About Us
Rain Neuromorphics is an early-stage artificial intelligence company developing neural network processors, also known as neuromorphic hardware, that can operate faster and more efficiently than conventional software-based neural networks.
Software-based neural networks are simulated by CPUs and GPUs, which work in a serial fashion, performing one instruction after another, eliminating the biggest advantage of a neural network: its massively parallel architecture.
Rain has designed technology that overcomes the limitations of conventional computer hardware and competing neuromorphic devices, connecting more neurons together in less space, while maintaining training efficiency and robustness.
