kWh Analytics More Solar Through Better Data

03/14/2019

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial generalist to manage the growing Solar Revenue Put portfolio that currently supports >$500mm of solar assets. The Project Finance Manager will report to the Head of Risk Transfer and will be responsible for the coordination of all financial and commercial activities related to managing the Solar Revenue Put portfolio including coordination with SwissRe, the largest reinsurer in the world. Responsibilities also include structuring and closing transactions, portfolio monitoring and reporting, onboarding, and claims management. To help you be successful, we have assembled a uniquely cross-functional team and built up a clientele that includes some of the biggest investor names in the industry.

What you can look forward to:

* Manage “hockey stick” growth by building new processes that scale

* Structuring & closing innovative multi-million dollar transactions

* Opportunity to support and lead transaction origination

* Working with a team of experienced solar veterans committed to helping you succeed

* Learning firsthand the critical intersection of how solar attracts money

* Solving a critical problem that has hindered the solar industry since its inception

What you likely need to do the job well:

* Client-facing experience. You have some client-facing experience in your background in business development, client service, consulting, accounting or project development.

* Fluency in finance or accounting. You can solve problems in real-time with our clients: senior finance executives. You are comfortable with mental math and jumping into spreadsheets.

* A thinker and a doer: You can hold multiple stakeholders’ perspectives in your head, devise a solution, and then rapidly build consensus around that solution.

* Attention to detail. You care deeply about making sure that each deal is done right, and may have even seen what happens when details are missed.

* Operating in an entrepreneurial environment: You enjoy “building the plane while you’re flying it” and will go the extra mile to figure things out

* Willingness to roll up your sleeves. We are a start-up and need people who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty (like firing up Excel to test a pro forma or picking up a phone to call someone you don’t already know)

Location: Remote (North America)
