We're live at Optatec 2026 in Frankfurt — and we want to see you at Booth 3.710!

If you're designing optical systems and tired of late-stage surprises, come talk to us. At Hyperion Optics, we build manufacturability into the design from day one.

Come talk to our engineering team about:
✅ DFM-driven optics & optical system manufacturing
✅ Tolerance analysis & feasibility studies
✅ Rapid prototyping

Whether you're early in your design phase or stuck on a production challenge, our engineers are here to provide support.

📍 Find us at Hall 3, Booth 710

Ever wondered how ultra-precision is achieved on aspherical surfaces? 🤔

Our engineer J.Q. demonstrates the process using single-point diamond turning (SPDT) on an S-LAH64 substrate, optimized for @780 nm wavelength — a material commonly used in NIR applications.

With our state-of-the-art diamond turning technology, we achieve:
🔹 0.2 µm aspheric form accuracy during precision grinding
🔹 0.5 µm final form accuracy after polishing

This level of precision is critical to maintaining minimal wavefront distortion and achieving diffraction-limited performance — essential for demanding NIR optical systems.

Each lens is then verified on the Mitutoyo® Roundtracer, enabling accurate and efficient form and positional inspections to ensure consistency across every surface.

Designing optics that push the limits of traditional manufacturing? Let’s explore how our expertise can help bring your vision to life.
