Sunset Showdown has officially kicked off! We had volunteers and over 15 teams load in, set up their pits, and build the field. Come join us for some offseason fun!

It's once again that time of year where we have to say goodbye to our lovely seniors: Joelle, Jae, Nick, Jack, and Galen. The five of them have had such an incredible impact(haha) on the team, and we would not be here without them. Each member brought ideas, expertise, encouragement, and fun to every aspect of our team. From Las Vegas, to Orange County, to a boat on the water, they have competed with confidence, excitement, and plenty of Gracious Professionalism. Although it brings us sadness, we must remember this is not goodbye, just see you later.

This is my last post as Operations lead on Team 5924. Here's to many more seasons of Golden Gate Robotics. Joelle, signing off.

That concludes the Contra Costa District Event, along with our season! Though the competition may not have gone as we had hoped, we had so much fun cheering in the stands, dancing on the field, and congratulating our mentor Grace for being a Woodie Flowers Nominee! Our team has had an amazing season, and we can't wait for what summer holds.

San Francisco District Event 2026 was a huge success! 🎉
Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who made it possible, and congratulations to every team that came out to compete. We loved seeing the energy, teamwork, and innovation from everyone involved and we look forward to the next one! 🚀🏆

That’s a wrap on our first competition: Half Moon Bay District Event! We made it to round 12 of playoffs in Alliance 7 with and ! Congratulations to our team members for winning the Gracious Professionalism Award, as well as our District Championship FIRST Leadership Award Semi-Finalist, Natalie! Our team worked so hard before and during this event, and we can’t wait for the next one!
