In Germany, the scound's bridle was a sign of oppression and a way to keep women from speaking out.
The scold's bridle is a terrifying tool for punishment that was first used in Germany in the 1600s on people, mostly women, who were thought to be too loud or annoying. In Britain, this painful tool was often called a "branks." It had a big nose piece, a sharp mouth guard, a neck ring that could be hinged, and a bell that hung down. It was meant to shame and restrain the person who wore it. Women accused of crimes like gossiping or nagging were the main targets of this harsh punishment, but history records show that men were also punished in this way. Many people in Northern Europe used the scold's bridle, which shows how common patriarchal norms were and how hard people worked to silence dissenting or nonconformist opinions, especially those of women.

This tiny sliver of mammoth tusk which is estimated to be around the 32,500 year mark (Yes you read that right, 32,500 years old) contains a carving of an anthropomorphic--like figure with it's arms and legs outstretched in the same pose as the stars of Orion according to Dr Michael Rappenglueck of the university of Munich. Dr Rappenglueck is in fact an expert on ancient star charts and maps within prehistoric caves and such and is in no doubt whatsoever what these etchings on a woolly mammoth tusk represent.

The fascinating artefact was discovered in 1979 within a cave in the Ach Valley in the Alb-Danube region of Germany. Carbon dating of bone ash deposits found next to the tablet suggest it is anywhere between 32,500 and 38,000 years old and ultimately must force us to relearn much of what we've been taught generation after generation.

It is thought that the tusk was left behind by the somewhat mysterious Aurignacian people, mysterious because we know literally next to nothing about these people who were clearly fantastic astronomers. The ivory tablet tusk is pretty small and measures only 38 x 14 x 4 millimetres, but is thought to have been the original size as when it was etched and not part of a larger fragment. So here we are with a tusk of mammoth proportions (No pun intended) which is around the 33,000 year old mark give or take which depicts the constellation of Orion in prehistoric times.

Ladies and gentlemen, these peoples who walked the same earth as you and I were clearly not the bone-banging Flintstones we have been led to believe all of these years, these people were just as if not more intelligent than today's ego driven society which has claimed itself to be the pinnacle of civilisation yet is wrecking the planet while claiming such nonsense, hypocrisy at it's highest form. It is clear that people on earth many eons ago were more in touch with mother earth, the universe and knew how to build according to universal law in a flawless manner it would seem, if anything we have declined as a civilisation rather than evolve but that is just this writers personal opinion and I'm not asking you to agree.🌌
