TCFR with Caribou Targhee National Forest is testing new technology developed by Pano AI. Pano is actionable intelligence to detect and manage wildfires quickly, helping keep fires small. A high tech camera is used to detect a fire, be confirmed by a person, notify the Fire Department and provide the ability to begin making real time decisions about possible strategies, tactics, possible evacuations and other hazards before arriving on scene.
