Make logistics industry better using AI-powered drones

At IDEX, we had the privilege to experience the cutting-edge of military technology and take part in an exciting pitching competition. Our team, led by , was honored to place second in the competition, with representatives from EDGE, and Ministry of Defense UAE serving as judges!

We were fortunate to hear Eugene's captivating presentation on the history and future of UVL Robotics. He explained how drones can increase the amount and speed of deliveries in the MENA region, due to its complex landscape of deserts, seas, and mountains.

Eugene also highlighted the case of humanitarian aid in Oman, where we delivered medical supplies to flood-ravaged areas. UVL Robotics is passionate about creating a better world, providing society with express delivery that can also reduce CO2 and carbon emissions.

We continue our business development round across Europe! And UVL Robotics is already in Korntal-Münchingen, Stuttgart.

We conducted the trial test day at the warehouse of Walter Eckhardt GmbH Spedition + Logistik and showed how effective drones can be in inventory in warehouses with normal and shuttle racks. And most importantly, soon we will return for the coordinated launch of POC. It`s planned to become the first step of reaching our annual 2023 revenue plan in the DACH region.

We are grateful to Eberhard Salzmann, Bereichsleitung Lagerlogistik und Umschlagslager, and CEO Stefan Herrmann for the opportunity to demonstrate disruptive technologies. Keep it up!

From high level contracts to new industry challenges, the 2022 for UVL Robotics has been filled with significant events. And now we are happy to share the most impressive highlights from the year!

We are grateful to our team that, despite all the challenges we faced in 2022, we ended the year with dignity and implemented almost everything we planned.

UVL Robotics reached one of the most essential 2022 milestones - expanding our AI-driven drone solutions in the U.S.!

This year our team focused on implementing an indoor inventory service in East Cost (Houston, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York) and, in December 2022, successfully held trial days in the warehouses of DB Schenker, DHL, Unilever and CLT Logistics. As a result, we received requests for regular complete and cyclic inventories during 2023.

According to Logistics I.Q., the U.S. warehousing market is about 2 billion pallets. The largest 3PL operators and Fortune 500 FMCG companies with an extensive network of warehouses and more than 1.5 million employees continuously increase their presence in the U.S. At the same time, the labour costs of warehouse employees are many times higher than in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The lack of automation negatively affects the accuracy of inventory and the security of operations. That`s where automation and highly efficient technologies join the game!

All this again confirms the right strategy of UVL Robotics – not only to take a significant market share of inventory services in the U.S. but to help clients increase their productivity over time.

In recent years, the trend towards smart cities and special economic zones has been especially growing in the world🌇

Vivid examples of this are the Neom metropolis under construction in Saudi Arabia and the Duqm Special Economic Zone in Oman. These areas are ideal places to introduce last-mile delivery by drones on an ongoing basis. Drones can reduce the load on the transport system and traffic jams by more than 5 times. UVL analysts also predict a decrease of CO2 emissions by 2600%, according to the open data.

So, as part of an experiment in Duqm we recently demonstrated the potential for delivery using drones. UVL Robotics delivered documents to the Renaissance Village Duqm and some snacks and burgers from a local shop🍔

UVL Robotics is tracking the development of smart cities and is ready to respond to all their proposals for testing drones!🤝
