Last year, our European patent on this technology was challenged by Jumpcode Genomics, but the European Patent Office (EPO) confirmed our patent’s validity. Now, the EPO has revoked Jumpcode Genomics' patent, reinforcing the strength of our European patent and NGS portfolio.

Takara Bio employees jumped into the holiday spirit at our annual Thanksgiving Day of Service event with Second Harvest of Silicon Valley. Second Harvest serves around 500,000 people with food insecurities monthly throughout the Bay Area. Over two days, we sorted through over 40,000 pounds of food to help Second Harvest continue its mission this holiday season!
