We are currently seeking an HVAC Service Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs
• Perform routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain material and supply inventory
• Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields (2 - 5 years of experience)
• Familiarity with maintenance/installation tools and equipment
• EPA (Universal) certification for service technician
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Good written & verbal communication sills
• Customer-oriented personality
• Team player
• Able to pass background check & drug test
• Clean driving record

Job Responsibilities:

Estimating
Communicating with vendors and requesting pricing
Perform job takeoffs
Attend job walks
Attend coordination meetings
Preparation of Title 24 documents
Coordination with engineering team on load calculations and design
Drafting Request for Information (RFIs) and project related documentation
Preparation of submittal packages and closeout packages
Project management, including tracking of cost and schedule

Prerequisites:

2-3 years of experience in the HVAC or related field, in a project engineer or project manager role
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe PDF or Bluebeam
Detail oriented, organized, and a team player
Ability to read drawings

Preferred Qualifications:

B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
EIT Certification or Professional Engineering (PE) License
Experienced with AutoCAD
