Harker Robotics Team 1072 Team 1072 Harker Robotics competes annually in the FIRST Robotics Competition and consists of students from The Harker School in San Jose, CA.

Of the students, by the students, for the students. That has always been the motto of Team 1072. So many other robotics organizations hold winning competitions as a higher priority than having students fabricate; to us, however, it is more important that the students should solely be responsible for designing and creating the robot, and to enjoy working with other students towards a common goal. We believe that by allowing the student members to create every component of the robot, we can foster a level of independent thinking that fuels innovation and creativity. Furthermore, it allows the club to function appropriately as a vehicle for learning the basics of engineering, cooperation, and design. Our biggest strength is that every student has the ability to contribute to the learning and growth of every other member of robotics.
