After stepping in to provide equipment and crew on short notice earlier this year, the operators of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk reached out to the King team to install another ride in advance of the park's centennial season. The collaborative effort, reflecting a long-standing partnership between the two teams, highlights their commitment to enhancing the park's attractions and ensuring a memorable celebration for visitors.

This time, their Liebherr LTM 1230 All Terrain Crane performed the work. Setting up on the beach side of the park, the crane undertook the challenging task of hoisting the 65,000-pound ride. Despite the complexities involved, including the need to maneuver the heavy equipment over the Giant Dipper rollercoaster and the precision required to position the ride correctly, the operation was executed flawlessly. The successful installation not only adds a new attraction to the boardwalk but also demonstrates the capabilities and reliability of the Liebherr crane, underscoring its importance in such demanding projects.
