Employee Highlight: Troy 👷🏼♂️✨
This month, we're highlighting Troy, one of our dedicated superintendents who has been part of the De Mattei team since 2022.
Troy has spent his entire career in construction, starting at just 15 years old and working his way through the industry before earning his contractor's license in 2006. Today, he brings decades of experience to every De Mattei project, overseeing the day-to-day operations on site and ensuring every detail meets the high standards our clients expect.
When asked what he loves most about working at De Mattei, Troy's answer was simple: **the people**. He considers De Mattei his family and says that's exactly how he approaches every project. He treats each home as if it were his own, making sure every detail is something he can proudly put his name behind. His commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and doing things the right way is something we see every single day.
Troy also shared two pieces of advice that have guided him throughout his career:
👂" Listen first, learn always." There's always something to learn.
🏡 "Under promise and over deliver." Set realistic expectations, focus on quality, and always strive to exceed them.
Outside of work, Troy enjoys skateboarding (he always has a skateboard in the passenger seat of his truck!) and spending time with his four dogs and two cats.
We're incredibly grateful to have Troy on the De Mattei team. His loyalty, integrity, and pride in his work make him an invaluable part of our family. Thank you for everything you do, Troy!
