The Agave® team has significant industry expertise in consulting, developing, and maintaining distributed generation systems for clients. The base technology of the Agave® offering is the Evolution™ product which was created at Regatta Solutions®, the leading US developer of combined heat and power projects. The Evolution™ platform development has benefited from real value and experiences of over 100 commercial and industrial clients who have implemented distributed generation projects to optimize their energy spend. This on-premise control system features microgrid controls to seamlessly integrate operation of solar, cogeneration, energy storage systems and balance of plant equipment ie. boilers, chillers, pumps.
The development of the Agave® Systems Analytics Suite was driven by client requirements to establish best practice functions that enable both continuous auditing and controls of energy usage of their facility. This SaaS solution is cloud based, hosted on Amazon Web Services providing clients with secure continuous access to their data. The integration of energy data from available sources allows for rapid processing of relevant data and continuous auditing. Integration of utility rate schedules provides up-to-date energy cost information for clients. The system provides constant feedback on not only equipment performance but investment payback on projects. The open system architecture allows it to be used independently or combined with an existing Evolution™ and/or plant control system/ SCADA system. The Agave® Systems Analytics suite provides the business intelligence instrumentation, offering a client an energy solution scorecard. Additional features allow clients to investigate the impact of various distributed generation technologies in their environment. These automated features combined allow our clients to continue to focus on their core businesses while taking advantage of automated feedback and analytics to operate their facilities in an optimal manner to drive energy savings.
