Unfortunately the 30% geothermal tax credit along with the other heat pump credits will be expiring the end of this year. Does t look like they will renew it.

Just want to clarify a little bit the new refrigerant we are all required to use now. We are required to use A2L refrigerants which replace the former R410A and the obsolete R 22. Units using the older refrigerants are no longer to be manufactured and R410a replacement gas is being phased out. If a major refrigerant component fails in your system even if it's 5 years old parts will not really be available. If we have a major leak or unrepairable condition pretty much having to replace the whole system with the new refrigerant and the old parts are not compatible. To make it worse there's two or more A2L refrigerants allowed and different manufacturers have made their own choices. Not to make it sound too confusing but it's going to make a major change in industry similar to the Takeover in 2010 of the 410A units. We will see

If you have a backup generator it's a good idea to have a soft start kit for your compressor. Smooths out start up current and helps protect both compressor and generator. Also helps control light flicker on start up with regular power.

Be aware. The EPA is eliminating the current AC systems using R410a refrigerant starting Jan 2025. Prices will jump 15 to 20%. If you think you need a new system soon now is the time.

This is the last of the 14 seer AC systems. After Jan 1 ,2023 that they will need to be higher SEER ratings under a revised rating system. Prices will go up. Here are our current prices subject to availability. Also lists pricing on our 20 SEER or better variable speed heat pumps These are extremely efficient! Can be used with gas heat as well.
