The San Marcos River in Texas is one of the most ecologically, economically, and educationally significant rivers in the United States. However, its water quality is increasingly at risk due to urban development, non-point source pollution, and intensive recreational use. Preservation of this unique ecosystem is critical for both human and wildlife health. Our R&D team is actively monitoring the river's water quality, with a particular focus on PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) contamination.
