Hillsdale High School Robotics Team Hillsdale Robotics Team based in San Mateo, CA We are the Hillsdale High School Robotics Team, also known as Botball team 195, from San Mateo, CA.

Botball is the robotics competition that we take part in. In it, autonomous robots (robots that are not remote controlled) attempt to complete tasks on an 8' x 8' game board to score points. Examples of tasks include sorting game objects by color, transferring foam cubes from one place to another, lifting objects to a raised platform, grabbing objects on a raised platform, and climbing up ramps. E

ach year, Botball releases a new game board and a new set of tasks--so the challenge changes from year to year. We compete in the Northern California Regionals hosted in NASA Ames Research Center and as well as competing internationally at GCER (Global Conference on Educational Robotics).
