The actual work hasn’t even started yet… and this is already one of the most important parts of the job.

Before our crew gets going, we take the time to protect the areas around where we’re working. Taping things off, covering what needs to be covered, and making sure we’re not creating another problem while we’re there to fix or improve something else. 😂

It’s someone’s home, not just another job site.

Taking a little extra time to prep makes a difference—and it’s something we take seriously on every project.

The details matter, even the ones that won’t be there when the job is finished. 👊

The older my boys get, the more I realize what success really looks like to me.

Yes, I want to build a successful business. I want to provide for my family. I want to give my boys opportunities I didn’t have.

But more than any of that, I want them to watch how I live.

How I work.
How I treat people.
How I handle the hard days.
How I take care of my family.
How I get back up when things don’t go my way.

I’m not doing all of this so they can grow up and say, “I want to be just like Dad.”

I hope they take everything I teach them, everything I build, and every opportunity I can give them—and go further than I ever did.

Better men. Better husbands. Better fathers. Better leaders.

If my boys grow up and surpass me in every way, I won’t feel like they beat me.

I’ll know I did my job.

That’s the legacy that matters to me.

That’s how long it took to shootcrete this community pool from start to finish.

When you see the finished pool someday, you’ll see the water, the tile, the decking and all the pretty stuff.

What you won’t see are days like this.

An early start before the sun was even up, 15 hours of nonstop work, and a crew that kept pushing until the job was done.

Big projects take big coordination—and an even better team.

Proud of these guys. This was a DAY. 👊

And we’re just getting started.

Before sunrise, the crew was already on site.

Today was a big milestone on the Eastmark community pool project—shotcrete day.

It’s one of the most important phases of the build and one that requires planning, precision, and a team that’s ready to go before the sun even comes up.

Every dad carries questions like these.

Am I present enough?
Am I working too much?
Do they know how much I love them?

I don’t have all the answers.

What I do know is that every long day, every early morning, and every sacrifice is for them. Not to give them everything they want—but to show them what’s possible through hard work, integrity, and discipline.

I hope one day they don’t just remember the things I gave them.

I hope they remember the example I set, the time we shared, and the values we built together.

At the end of the day, being a good dad isn’t about being perfect.

It’s about showing up, loving them well, and doing your best every single day.

That’s the legacy I’m trying to leave.

This fence had definitely seen better days.

Instead of trying to patch something that was already on its last leg, we gave it a fresh start.

Every time I see a young person stop to admire my car, I make it a point to stop and talk with them.

Because I was once that kid.

I remember looking at people who had achieved things I dreamed about and wondering if it could ever be me.

So now, whenever I get the chance, I want to be the person who says, “It absolutely can.”

I told him this car didn’t happen overnight. It came after years of early mornings, late nights, setbacks, sacrifices, and refusing to quit.

The car isn’t the point.

The point is that dreams become reality when you’re willing to do the work, stay focused, and keep going long after most people would have given up.

If I can leave one young person believing their future is bigger than they imagined, then that conversation was worth having.

Be the reason a kid dreams bigger. You never know what one conversation can do.
