On a cold day in February I’m digging in the dirt, focused on making sure the pad for the foundatin is level.

It feels like just another day…..

I started thinking that someday a family will raise their children here. There will be laughter where there’s currently dirt, memories where there’s machinery. This house will still be here long after I’m gone.

It’s humbling to realize that what feels ordinary today will become the foundation for a mother and father who aren’t even born yet. Think about that.

A few weeks ago, we wrapped up and delivered a custom home for a client in an established neighborhood. With surrounding homes averaging about 20 years old, the client thoughtfully designed their home to blend seamlessly with the character of the existing community. We’re incredibly proud to have been trusted with the responsibility of bringing their vision to life.

A special thank-you to Jennifer Dineen of Houlihan Lawrence in Ridgefield for bringing the buyers. This marks the second couple we’ve had the pleasure of building for through Jennifer’s referral, and we’re truly grateful for her continued trust and confidence in our work.

I had such a great experience working with the owners of this new home in Sandy Hook. They were looking for a house with a main-level apartment—nothing on the market fit their needs, so I designed it. Seeing how happy they are now made the whole process a pleasure.
