Doing a deck demo today and my battery housing cracked just simply using the reciprocating saw. So I called dewalt asking about the manufacturers warranty. Turns out they warranty the batteries for 3 years. My battery is only 2 years and 10 months old from the manufactured date and they are shipping a new battery free of charge. Super impressed with the customer service and quality and reputation of the brand. Food for thought when shopping for tools, look into the brands manufacturer warranties and that will tell you the quality of products.
