In San Bernardino County, there are more than 2,200 kids for every pediatrician—roughly 1,000 more children per doctor than the California average.

Loma Linda University Health is changing that in a big way. This week we celebrated by cutting the ribbon on its new Loma Linda University Children's Health Specialty Clinic. The five-story, 105,000 SF outpatient pavilion brings pediatric specialties together in one place, including cardiology, neurology, orthopaedics, and spina bifida care. Families who once traveled between appointments across the region will soon find the care they need under one roof, right next door to Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.

Elevating the standard of workplace design at the epicenter of Tempe.

We are thrilled to share a look inside our latest tenant Improvement for Gen Digital at Hayden Ferry in Tempe, AZ. As one of the Southwest’s premier business hubs, this stunning waterfront campus continues to attract global tech leaders and world-class innovators.

This was a unique project delivery for a TI that ultimately helped accelerate schedule and save on cost. We sat shoulder to shoulder with WRNS Studio to deliver a sophisticated design and next-generation work environment for this iconic location. From custom architectural details to premium finishes, we designed this space to match the high-caliber energy of Tempe Town Lake.

Ever wondered what goes into building a high-rise? Here's what we're thinking about when we take on these builds:

• 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀. We're usually on a tight urban site, so laydown and staging are limited. On one job we had seven feet between our building and the property line. We often schedule material deliveries to arrive the day or even the hour it gets installed to avoid having to store it.

• 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴. A foundation concrete pour means a steady line of ready-mix trucks posted up on the street, and nobody wants that during rush hour. We've run countless overnight pours to keep the city moving.

• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲. A few hundred feet up, our operator sits for a full shift, coordinating with crews on the ground, tracking wind, and sequencing every pick around occupied buildings and live traffic below. It's the most visible job on the site and maybe the most important.

• 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲. On a recent project we held a four-day cycle, meaning every trade had to complete an entire floor in four days. Once we're vertical, the whole schedule runs on that cadence. If one trade slips, everybody feels it...sometimes twenty floors later.

Built for sound, and a 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 education.

Southern Utah University cut the ribbon at the 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗦. 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗿é 𝗘𝗰𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, a 51,250 SF facility anchored by a 510-seat concert hall built to specialized acoustic standards, plus classrooms, piano and computer labs, a percussion studio, recording and production labs, and rehearsal space for every ensemble on campus.
