Cancer patients in Shasta County have been traveling across Northern California for chemotherapy, radiation therapy, lab work, and imaging.

With 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 now open in Redding, all these services (and more) now live under one roof. Here’s what's inside the 43,800 SF facility:

- Education facilities
- Linear accelerator
- PET-CT imaging
- Retail pharmacy

𝗚𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: A rehabilitation hospital to help people rebuild strength, regain independence, and return to their families and communities.

We just broke ground on an 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital for Loma Linda University Health in Redlands, CA. The three-story facility will serve patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other complex conditions.

This project continues a 20-year relationship and marks our 36th project with Loma Linda. We're honored to support their mission "To Make Man Whole" by building environments where patients can heal and get back on their feet.

Our Construction Manager Jacob Chapman is on site at the HCA Palms West Hospital Expansion in Loxahatchee, FL where he’s leading a 72,545 SF tower expansion with five stories, 42 patient rooms, and major MEP upgrades, all on an active hospital campus.

𝗔 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲’𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

We partnered with Cousins Properties on the transformation of Hayden Ferry Lakeside, revitalizing the façade across four buildings and delivering the core and shell for the new Roman restaurant.

Designed by TVS Design, the renovation included new ACM panels, textured tile at the garage entrance, upgraded exterior lighting, and a modernized aesthetic that gives the campus a renewed identity. All work was carefully coordinated within an active office environment to minimize disruption for tenants and visitors.

The restaurant shell space is now home to Chef Scott Conant’s latest Italian concept, adding another exciting destination to this iconic development.

If your city is planning to build a civic center but doesn't know where to start, take a look at Orem.

Municipal projects come with unique pressure. Public services can't stop and citizens are watching. City of Orem Government's city hall shows what's possible when you have a partner who understands that reality.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: Build a new city hall on a high-visibility corner—State and Center Streets—on the same tight site as the old one, all while maintaining police, fire, and communications lines with hundreds of citizens coming and going every day. When the city came to us mid-project wanting to remodel the library too, we made it work.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁: A 72,000 SF civic center with a 270-seat council chamber, library, emergency center capability, an outdoor plaza with canopy, and flexible workspaces to serve the city for years to come. The craftsmanship is on display the moment you walk into the lobby with wood ceilings, polished concrete floors, interior glass storefronts, and exterior facades that replicate wood grain finishes.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱: After more than 200,000 work hours, we had only two minor incidents. That kind of outcome takes buy-in from every trade on site.

Developing the next generation of builders is part of how we do business. Today, we're celebrating 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗗𝗮𝘆.

Stop by any Layton jobsite and you'll probably meet an intern working alongside a team that takes mentorship seriously. This year, we welcomed 210 interns from more than 40 colleges and universities across the country and gave them exposure to the business at every level.

71% of our past interns have returned for another internship or accepted a full-time role. And it's not unusual to meet a senior leader at Layton and learn they started as an intern.
