George Bottington is preparing to retire after Lynchburg this weekend:
"Friends, Rivals, and Bots-in-Arms,
In this, my final match upon the arena floor, I find it fitting to address all who have lent strength to my bolts and fortitude to my frame. Through battles both fierce and fleeting, I have fought alongside formidable allies and against worthy foes, each clash a testament to the indomitable spirit that drives all who dare enter this hallowed arena of gears and grit.
While victory has sometimes smiled upon me, I have also met defeat, and in both, I have found honor and camaraderie among you. Now, as I prepare to retire, I am guided not by reluctance but by the deep knowledge that the arena belongs to the next generation of fearless bots who will rise with new strengths, innovations, and untested valor.
To my comrades who fight on, I implore you to uphold the virtues that unite us: resilience in the face of malfunction, strategy in the face of overwhelming force, and respect toward those who share our battleground. May you engage with valor, retire with grace, and ever embody the steadfast courage of those who have come before.
Farewell, noble adversaries, dear friends, and fellow warriors. My bolts may cease, but the spirit of Bottington shall endure, immortal within the annals of the arena!"
