A few weeks ago, we completed what some might call a “spec home.
I don’t.
This is a custom home, thoughtfully designed from the outset.
It began with securing the ideal lot in a prime setting. From there, I selected and refined the floor plan to suit a specific lifestyle. Every detail was chosen with intention—from cabinetry, hardware, and quartz countertops to the brushed gold kitchen faucet, tiled showers, black plumbing fixtures, door styles, and the blend of LVP flooring downstairs with carpet above.
The layout balances everyday living with effortless entertaining, featuring a home office, full bath on the main level, wet bar, fireplace, and an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space overlooking the golf course. The primary suite offers sweeping views, expansive walk-in closets, and generous double vanities.
Upstairs includes two additional bedrooms, a large bonus room, a secondary living area, a second laundry room, and abundant storage.
The exterior is equally considered, with charcoal board-and-batten accents, Antique Parchment siding, and a welcoming front porch. The rear patio provides a refined setting for quiet evenings or gatherings.
This wasn’t built to be just another spec home—it was crafted with purpose, where every detail reflects a deliberate choice and a commitment to quality.
It stands as a testament to intentional design and true craftsmanship, setting the standard for what a custom home should be.
