How do you like to see parts? Do you leave them shiney or do you blast/tumble them?

Some customers specifically call out what type of finish they require and some do not. Some simply request that tool marks and lines aren't visible. We always strive for the best possible finish no matter what we make.

Our vote is shiney!

When you make a huge mess of chips in your machine, what's your go-to on clean up? Do you push them all through the auger/conveyor or do you scoop the bulk out by hand first?

We aren't looking for advice here, just asking what's everyone's method.

Anyone know why we are running the feed so slow here?
Programmed feed is 247ipm .100 doc, less than half that here, why?

Also, normally this would have coolant on it yes, none just for the video.

What is your process and how do they stack up?

Raw > milling > deburr and polish > cleaning > pack and ship.

Keep your old soft jaws!

Nothing worse then having to toss soft jaws in the scrap bucket, that costs you money. Utilize what you have left, you never know what little part you might be able to hold with the meat left on the old jaws.
