Just wrapped an inspiring trip to Colorado School of Mines where I got to mentor students in the American-Made Challenge pitch competition! ⚡️

These students weren’t just pitching ideas — they were developing real innovations to transform the energy industry.
Not research for research’s sake — actual products with commercial potential.

I focused on the business side of their plans:
💡 Who's the customer?
📈 How do you scale?
💸 What makes it valuable in the real world?

And after the competition… we got to tour NREL! 🤯
We saw:
🔆 Solar tech in development
💻 A liquid-cooled data center powering next-gen energy models
🏠 Research on home energy products not even on the market yet

It was 🔋 energizing (pun intended) to be surrounded by people shaping the future of clean energy — and to bring a little itty bit Better perspective into the mix. 🌱💡

But when it came to making sense of their data in tools like Power BI?
⏳ They just didn’t have the time to figure it out.

That’s why I create dashboards for you — so Power BI works with you, not against you.

⚡️ Power BI Tip:
Importing 15-min interval data?
Use the Group By tool in Power Query to summarize it into hourly or daily averages.
Your charts will load faster and actually make sense.
