Signal Science, Inc. Signal Science, Inc.Santa Clara, CA The History of Signal Science, Inc. government.

Signal Science provided hardware and software products for wireless communications to customers ranging from the private sector to the U.S. Founded as a research and development company in 1974, the company diversified in the early 1990's by adapting its hardware and software technologies to the needs of emerging wireless telecommunications markets. In 1996, Allen Telecom acquired Signal Science a

s an advanced product development center to provide RF technologies, geolocation and RF signature expertise, and wireless product development support. Signal Science's government and commercial commitments entail hardware systems and computer algorithms that meet complex wireless communication requirements. The government business segment designs, develops and installs unique electronic radio receiving systems; develops computer software algorithms; designs signal processing hardware; and provides consulting services. The commercial business segment designs, develops, tests and installs advanced equipment and software for customers using wireless telecommunications products.

Detection of a digitally modulated signal using binary line enhancement Patent

Detection of a digitally modulated radio signal whose underlying data contain repetition structures is achieved by generating a binary spectrum from the frequency domain spectral amplitudes. The binary spectrum of the signal can be rastered at the signal's framing rate or other periodicity to create...

Method for signal transmission using spectrally efficient orthogonal modulation Patent

A structure and a method for transmitting digital data modulate the amplitude and the phase of a set of orthogonal band-limited finite duration waveforms. In one embodiment, a group of information symbols modulate in parallel a set of spectrally efficient orthogonal waveforms, known as prolate spher...
