Meet Paul Johnston. Paul joined Polycoat in March as the Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Crown Polymers and Polycoat Productsycoat Products.

In his role, Paul works closely with contractors and distributors to solve problems, educate teams on products, and recommend systems that can make a real difference on the jobsite.

“Helping their jobs go smoother is key, and that’s what I like to do,” says Paul.

Before joining Polycoat, Paul owned and operated his own painting and floor coating business for 15 years. Prior to that , he was an Industrial Coatings Sales Representative for 20 years, bringing valuable hands-on industry experience to the team.

Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, as well as playing golf. 🏌️

Coastal conditions demand long-term performance. 🌊

At Maravillas in Cabo San Lucas, Polycoat systems were installed more than 7 years ago across multiple structures —from roofs and terraces to planters and water features. Since then, the contractor reports zero membrane failures.

This track record has helped open the door to additional work at other resort properties.

Hands-on training in action. 👷‍♂️

We recently hosted a demo day with Spectrum Paint Company in Charleston, SC, where we completed a full application of our Poly I Gard 575FC system on a parking deck. Four coats, all in one day!

From surface prep to the final coat, it was a great opportunity to walk through the process together and demonstrate how the 4-coat system comes together in real-world conditions.

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the deck and made it a great training session. Looking forward to more like this.
