When we invest in people, we strengthen the craft pool, create better careers, and help hardworking men and women increase their earning potential while building a future they can be proud of.

As COO Sam Navarro put it: “At IPC, we are committed to the betterment of our workforce by investing in training and development. The Level Up program reflects who we are as a company—dedicated to building skilled craftsmen, creating opportunity, and ensuring the long-term success of future generations in our trade.”

A special shoutout goes to German Lerma, Shop Coatings Foreman, whose leadership and mentorship helped make this possible. German said it best: “From day one, Johnny showed work ethic, drive, and a real passion for growth. I nominated him for the Level Up program knowing I’d lose a good shop employee, but I also knew it was the right move for Johnny and his young family. Watching him earn this opportunity has been worth it.”

Johnny, you earned this. Your hard work, humility, and willingness to learn paid off—and this is only the beginning.

Congratulations again, and welcome to the field.

Today, IPC Industries Corp proudly congratulates Thomas Wells on his retirement after 8 years with the IPC family.

Thomas has been a valued team member from day one—someone who showed up every day ready to work hard, work safe, and do things the right way. His commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork exemplifies the standards we strive to uphold across our organization.

During a small retirement gathering, Thomas gave a heartfelt speech that reminded us all why culture matters. He became emotional while thanking his coworkers and IPC leadership for genuinely caring about one another and for creating a company he was proud to work for. Moments like that speak louder than any metric ever could.

As COO Sam Navarro shared:

“At IPC, we’ve always believed that people come first. Our mission is simple—we are a people-over-mass-growth company. When you take care of your employees and treat them like family, everything else falls into place. Thomas represents exactly what that culture is all about.”

Thomas, thank you for your years of dedication, professionalism, and for being part of what makes IPC special. You’ve left a lasting mark on this company, and you will always be part of the IPC family.

Wishing you nothing but happiness and success in your next chapter—you’ve earned it.

At IPC Industries, safety isn’t just a metric — it’s a mindset.

We’re proud to recognize one of our mechanical crews for achieving another full year of zero safety incidents at one of our nested maintenance facilities. Working in complex, high-risk environments requires constant vigilance, teamwork, and accountability, and this crew continues to set the standard.

A special thank you to Luis Resendez for his leadership and for truly being his brother’s keeper. His commitment to looking out for his team and holding the line on safety makes a lasting impact every single day.

As our Founder and CEO Clay Hertenberger shared:

“I couldn’t be more proud of this crew. Their discipline, professionalism, and commitment to one another clearly show how they are embracing the Be Your Best culture we’ve built at IPC. This is what it looks like when safety and excellence go hand in hand.”

To the entire crew — thank you for doing the job the right way, for each other, and for the IPC family. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

IPC Industries would like to extend our sincere thanks to Marathon Petroleum Corporation, the Lone Star Safety Association, and our outstanding site staff for hosting and supporting a wonderful Christmas banquet last night.

This event was more than a celebration—it was a recognition of the strong, healthy safety culture that exists at the site and the collective commitment to looking out for one another every day. Partnerships like these reinforce the importance of collaboration, accountability, and shared responsibility in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

“As an organization, IPC truly appreciates the strong safety presence at the Galveston Bay Refinery,” said Sam Navarro, COO of IPC Industries. “The leadership, engagement, and commitment to safety we see on this site align directly with our Be Your Best culture, and we’re proud to be part of a team that places safety at the forefront of everything we do.”

A special thank you as well to Chelsea Huggins for beautifully decorating the IPC table and, as always, stepping up to make sure our team was represented with pride.

We’re grateful to be part of a site that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement—and we look forward to building on that success together.

Yesterday, our team at one of our nested maintenance facilities came together for our annual end-of-year holiday luncheon — a chance to pause, celebrate, and recognize the incredible people who keep IPC Industries moving forward every single day.

Our COO, Sam Navarro, shared a message that reflects the heart of our culture:
“Our craftsmen and employees are our most valuable assets. As an organization, our mission is to show them as much appreciation as possible — not just during the holidays, but throughout the entire year.”

A special thank-you to our partners who helped make the event even more memorable. John Stevenson at Carboline, Jacob Tilley at Victory, Travis at The Warehouse, and Mark at Sherwin-Williams generously donated gifts for our raffle, ensuring every employee went home with something in hand.

We’re grateful for the hard work, commitment, and craftsmanship our team brings to IPC each day. Here’s to a successful year behind us — and an even stronger one ahead.

Celebrating the Holidays Early at IPC Industries

This afternoon, we gathered to celebrate the holidays a little early with one of our traveling tank crews — a group that will be working out of state through the holiday season and won’t be in town for our traditional end-of-year meal.

As our teams continue to take on projects across the country, we never lose sight of the people who make it all possible.

“As our enterprise continues to grow, it’s important that we keep our craftsmen at the front of our values,” said Sam Navarro, COO of IPC Industries. “We can never lose sight of the fact that our employees are the most important part of our business.”

We’re grateful for the dedication, professionalism, and hard work of every member of our IPC family — near and far.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season!

Our latest Supervisors Roundtable brought together IPC’s operations leaders for an engaging discussion on corporate updates, organizational strategy, and safety initiatives. These sessions are a cornerstone of how we stay aligned, strengthen our culture, and continue to grow together.

This month’s presentation centered around servant leadership — focusing on what it means to truly serve others in the workplace and beyond.

We also want to congratulate Sergio Lujano, recipient of this month’s Heavy Hitting Award, for his outstanding performance and commitment to excellence.

Thank you Jason Lemon and Matt Carr at Spray Pump Services, LLC for their informative presentation and for sponsoring the great dinner, your partnership and support is appreciated!

At IPC, we believe leadership starts with service — and our supervisors continue to set the tone.

At IPC Industries, growth happens when accountability and teamwork come first.

During our most recent Supervisors Roundtable Meeting, we focused on the importance of holding ourselves — and each other — accountable for our actions. These conversations help us sharpen our leadership, drive new growth opportunities, and set the tone for the way we operate as a team.

We also took time to celebrate some well-deserved recognition:

Salvador “Chava” Morales – promoted to Quality Control

Gustavo Martinez – promoted to Foreman

Edgar Gutierrez – winner of the “Heavy Hitter” Award for consistently stepping up and being a true team player

Executive Vice President Sam Navarro said the following about the focus of the meeting... "At IPC, accountability isn’t just a word—it’s a commitment. When we pair it with clear, transparent communication, we create a culture where trust thrives and every employee knows the company has their back."

Congratulations to all three of you! Your dedication and leadership continue to raise the bar for what it means to be part of IPC.
