Checkout this newly renovated retail space in New Orleans right off Bourbon Street. It’s located inside the Holiday Inn Club Vacation resort and will be home to Empanola, a New Orleans craft Mexican restaurant.

They called and said the space needed to be converted ASAP. In less than 5 days we took the space from run down to run ready!

Nobody beats the quality, professionalism and talent of a JM crew.

With the potential freeze we are about to experience here on the Texas coast, we would just like to provide folks with some accurate information on how to prepare for and manage their water pipes during these extreme low temps.

Below is a memo straight from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension that will help keep you from having a disaster. But here are some highlights for you to consider:

- water freezes at 32 degrees F, but pipes typically don’t freeze until temps get down to 20 degrees for extended periods. Bare exposed lines will freeze sooner, so make sure they are wrapped/insulated or drained.

- Even hot water lines can freeze in a home if water isn’t flowing through them. Keeping faucets running with a mix of hot and cold water flowing is a must.

- Exposed piping under sinks are at risk even though they are inside your home. Keep cabinet doors open so warm air in the home can circulate around them.

- Drain and store water hoses, and drain all pool lines/sprinkler systems.

- If possible open hose bibs on the exterior of your home and drain those lines. But for sure have insulated covers for them or at least wrap them.

We hope this helps prepare you for the impending artic blast. And remember, we are here to help even if the worst does happen.
