Okay… this is a VERY misleading headline. Microplastics are SUPER problematic, but they also happen to be the byproduct of mechanical recycling. Our Indonesian partner has found a way to take this microplastic-laden recycling byproduct and lock it up in durable building materials like bricks! So, in this case, the more microplastics the better! (Link in bio)

We’re honored to announce our IMPAC+ partnership with , who is funding the reclamation of 200,000 pounds of at-risk plastic waste. This is being achieved by diverting microplastic-laden recycling byproduct, otherwise known as “mud,” and repurposing it into building bricks. The result is a durable good that locks up this problematic microplastic waste.
