Dirt is moving in Fort Myers!

Our site superintendent Warren sent this over from the field today — early sitework underway on the new Ellianos Coffee coming to Fort Myers, FL. What you’re looking at is mass grading, stormwater excavation, and underground utility work: the unglamorous phase that quietly decides whether everything after it goes smoothly.
That’s Warren standing in the middle of it. If you’ve ever wondered what a good site super actually does, it’s this — on the pad every day, walking grades, keeping subs sequenced, and catching the small things before they turn into schedule problems.
Good people in the field are what make a project work. Plans and schedules matter, but somebody has to stand in the dirt and make it real. That’s the part of this business we’re most proud of at SimQ Development.
Fort Myers is a market we’re glad to be building in, and this won’t be our last project down here.

Over the past few years, we made a pretty big shift at SimQ Development—from primarily residential work into commercial construction across Florida, especially in high-growth concepts like QSR and drive-thru builds.

It came down to recognizing where things were going and being willing to move early.
