A complete system typically combines amber LED in-roadway warning lights (IRWLs), durable steel or composite base plates, automatic activation bollards, a controller, flashing LED signs, and solar panels (A/C power is available). The applications for Smart Crosswalk™, when configured with flashing LED signs, remote activation devices (RADs), rapid rectangular flashing beacons (RRFBs), include: private facilities, school campuses, parking areas, warehouses, land-side airport crossings, and railroad crossings.
